Welcome to ESLROK (accessible at eslrok.com). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, resume database, and job board (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering an account, publishing a resume, posting a job, using our communication tools, or otherwise accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. Description of Services
ESLROK is an online job board designed to connect English as a Second Language (ESL) job seekers ("Teachers" or "Job Seekers") with schools, academies, universities, and recruitment agencies ("Employers" or "Recruiters") primarily in South Korea.
ESLROK acts solely as a passive conduit for the online distribution and publication of user-submitted information.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
A. Age and Eligibility
To register an account or use the Platform, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
B. Account Security
When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password) and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at

You may delete your account at any time from the "Account Settings" page in your dashboard. ESLROK reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior.
3. Terms for Job Seekers (Teachers)
A. Resume Submission and Visibility
By creating or uploading a resume on ESLROK, you represent that all information provided is accurate, truthful, and reflects your actual qualifications and experience. You acknowledge that publishing your resume makes it searchable and viewable by registered Employers who have purchased a resume access subscription.
B. Job Applications ("Quick Apply")
When you apply for a job using the "Quick Apply" feature, your message's contents are sent directly to the Employer's external email inbox. You acknowledge that ESLROK is not responsible for how Employers store, handle, or respond to your applications.
C. Prohibited Conduct for Job Seekers
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or inaccurate qualifications, certifications, or work experience.
- Impersonate any other person or submit a resume on behalf of someone else without their explicit authorization.
- Post content that is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or violates any third-party intellectual property rights.
4. Terms for Employers and Recruiters
A. Job Advertisements
Employers and Recruiters are solely responsible for the content of their job postings. By posting a vacancy, you represent that:
- The job is legitimate, active, and accurately described.
- The position complies with all applicable labor, immigration, and visa laws of South Korea.
- You will not charge Job Seekers any fees to apply for or secure the position.
B. Use of the Resume Database
Employers who purchase a resume subscription are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the ESLROK resume database solely for the purpose of identifying and contacting candidates for legitimate, active job openings.
C. Prohibited Conduct for Employers
Employers and Recruiters agree not to:
- Use candidate information from the resume database for marketing, spamming, or any purpose other than recruitment.
- Sell, lease, or share candidate contact details with third parties without the candidate's explicit consent.
- Post misleading, fraudulent, or non-existent job opportunities.
- Post advertisements that discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or nationality, unless such restrictions are legally mandated by South Korean visa regulations (e.g., specific native English speaker visa requirements).
5. Fees, Payments, and Refund Policy
A. Fees for Services
Job Seekers may use the Platform and publish resumes for free. Employers and Recruiters may be charged fees to post job advertisements or access resume database features. All fees are clearly stated on the Platform before purchase.
B. Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateways, Stripe and PayPal. By purchasing a service, you agree to the terms of the respective payment gateway. ESLROK does not store your billing or credit card information.

6. Intellectual Property
A. Platform Content
All content, design, graphics, logos, code, and software on ESLROK (excluding user-generated content) are the property of ESLROK and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
B. User-Generated Content
By posting job advertisements or resumes on the Platform, you grant ESLROK a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, display, distribute, and reproduce your content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. You retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time, which terminates this license for future use.
7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
A. "As Is" Basis
The Platform and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. ESLROK does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
B. Third-Party Interactions
ESLROK does not control, monitor, or guarantee the quality, safety, truth, or accuracy of job postings, resumes, or communications between users. Any employment agreement, contract, or arrangement made between a Job Seeker and an Employer is strictly between those two parties. ESLROK is not liable for any disputes, contract breaches, unpaid salaries, visa issues, or deportations arising from employment found through the Platform.
C. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ESLROK, its owners, and operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Platform.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform, including defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of other users.
- Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ESLROK, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your access to or use of the Platform.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your user-generated content (including job postings or resumes that infringe on third-party rights or contain defamatory material).
- Your interactions with any other user of the Platform.
9. Modifications to the Terms
ESLROK reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications are published constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Platform and delete your account.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and your use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws governing international e-commerce platforms, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiations. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts in the jurisdiction where ESLROK's operators reside.
